Google announced on October 23, 2000, that the Google AdWords service would be started, two years after the company Google inc. was founded. Google Ads started in beta with around 350 advertisers. However, Google has always been heavily criticized. After Google Ads was expanded to YouTube in 2012, users were also able to add audiovisual content to their advertising. The renaming of Google AdWords to Google Ads took place in 2018 for a good reason: Because words now only make up a small part of the advertising message.
However, the functions were further refined. It is now possible to place a third heading in the ad and add a second description. This increases the chance that users will notice the ad.
